Queensland is looking to toughen laws on revenge porn statewide, and perpetrators could now be facing up to three years behind bars.
Distributing or even threatening to spread compromising images of another person could land you in jail under the proposed laws.
Attorney general Yvette D’ath said that revenge porn is a weapon that can be used to hurt, humiliate, coerce and intimidate a victim.
