The Brisbane City Council is under fire over the exploitation of Indian workers through an outsourced IT service.
The Services Union secretary Neil Henderson, undertaking the investigation, says staff of the IT company HCL were working long hours with no weekend, public holidays rates or overtime.
The Brisbane city council is organising an urgent meeting with the company on the matter.
