US Republican Senator John Mccain has passed away on Saturday the 25th at the age of 81, after a year long battle with brain cancer.
Mccain is survived by his wife Cindy and his mother, Roberta. He was well-known due to his five year experience as a prisoner of war in Vietnam.
He is receiving deep condolences from both sides of the political spectrum, including 2008 running rival Barack Obama.
