The Queensland Government have announced on Sunday its plan to sell the naming rights to the Brisbane cricket ground, as well as the Australian Rules sporting ground.

The money raised from selling these naming rights will help with redevelopment costs of the stadium.

This decision comes after Western Australian state government has raised over $10 Million by selling the naming rights to the sports stadium, Perth Arena.

Both progresses show the idea that Australia is interested in blending sport with branding.
