Around 15 per cent of Australians have experienced 'food poverty' in the past year with one in 10 requiring assistance to feed their family.
Australia's largest food assistance organization, Foodbank, is working to alleviate hunger for thousands of Australians.
Foodbank CEO Gerry Anderson says that over 50 percent of those receiving Foodbank help are employed, but are still unable to provide for their families.
