Opposition MPs in Queensland are being urged by the Young LNP to reject abortion laws introduced last week to state parliament.
It is understood a motion was passed through the Young LNP state council meeting on Saturday, opposing the government’s proposed laws to decriminalise abortion.
The bill is expected to be debated and passed before the end of the year.
