Queensland Premier Palaszczuk has ordered an inquiry into voluntary euthanasia and end-of-life care.
Speaking at the Labor Party Conference in Brisbane, she outlined that a parliamentary health committee would look into improvements into these issues, along with aged care services and palliative care.
The state opposition outlined that assisted dying should not be a main issue for Queensland, expressing the Liberal National Party’s official stance against euthanasia.
