The Brisbane City Council is set to introduce a new cloth nappy rebate this financial year to encourage the use of reusable nappies.
Disposable nappies in Brisbane are among the largest single-waste stream made up of a single product, accounting for almost 4 percent of general household waste.
The Sustainable Nappy Cashback initiative will offer $300 rebates to one family per month to use cloth nappies.
