7000 insects along with one of the worlds most highly venomous spider have been stolen from the Philadelphia Insectarium and Butterfly Pavillion in the United States.

The thieves, on the 22nd of August, stole more than 40,000 dollars worth of insects, with police believing the heist to be an inside job.

The insectarium and police state that it’s difficult to track which specific creatures have been stolen as the thieves also stole the logs used to track the pavilion’s insects.

This, along with the thieves leaving the pavillions staff uniforms used by them impaled into a wall, has lead police to believe that 3 specific staff members to be responsible for the incredible heist.
