The Public Service Association has also organised a rally today after the new South Australian Liberal Government revealed plans to privatise management of the Adelaide Remand Centre and cut public sector jobs.
PSA’s Neville Kitchin says the Government did not consult with unions or public servants before it made the announcement.
Mr Kitchin says they’re planning to march from the Remands Centre to Parliament and are expecting hundreds of members to take part in the rally.
