More than one million people have been forced to evacuate the eastern coast of the United States following the growth of Hurricane Florence.
The US National Hurricane Centre says the storm is intensifying, and could strengthen to near category five status.
The eye of the storm is forecast to make landfall late on Thursday or early Friday affecting coastal states from South Carolina to Ohio and Pennsylvania.
