Queensland Health is investigating how a passer-by found confidential patient handover notes from the Redcliffe Hospital.
A Hospital spokesperson says the notes found were not copies of patient clinical records, and the patients whose information was included in the notes have been contacted.
The notes were returned to the hospital and it is believed the passer-by was the only person to see the information.
