A proposal for a 12-story residential building in West End has been criticised by the local community due to its U-shape design being described as ‘excessive’.
The local council have told the developer, Crown group, if it wants support it needs to be amended by October 8th. The council described it as bulky, without access to sunlight or breeze.
Residents Shelley and Robert Wilson wrote a submission to the council to object the development, stating that “the size and scale … will be a blight on West End and greatly reduce the suburb’s liveable nature.”
