Typhoon Mangkhut has entered through southern China on Sunday, after lashing the northern Phillipines, leaving 64 dead and dozens buried in a landslide. More than 2.4 million have been evacuated from Guangdong fearing the typhoon.  

The city of Macau have closed casinos for the first time, and Hong Kong media suggesting Typhoon Mangkhut was expected to bare the most damage in decades.

The storm made landfall in Guandong at 5pm with winds of over 162 kms per hour. Waves have also flooded a seaside hotel in the city of Shenzen.
