A woman claims she found a needle inside a Pink Lady apple she bought from a Woolworths in Sydney’s north-west.
The woman from Kellyville Ridge purchased the apple from The Ponds supermarket and was peeling it for her daughter when she reportedly found the sharp object.
Police have investigated the claims and have dismissed this ‘apple case’ as an isolated incident.
