The Queensland government has passed tough new sex offender laws overnight.
The new laws monitor dangerous child sex offenders for life and provides the Queensland Police Service with extra funding to provide more resources for surveillance and enforcement operations.
Queensland’s already strong child sex offender laws are now the toughest in the country.
