Our tour guides have some great stories about their experience at the station from the past 25 years, as well as recollections from when our building was used as a practice space by bands like The Saints when it was stilled owned by the Australian Communist Party

If you're interested in Brisbane's musical history, 4ZZZ and The Zoo are presenting Brisbane - Finding Our Voice a free event on Tuesday October 9th at The Zoo featuring a panel discussion on Brisbane's cultural heritage. Speakers like Joc Curran, former 4ZZZ Station Coordinator Anne Jones, current board member Mark Louttit will be sharing stories of their experiences of Brisbane over the last few decades and the importance of our history on shaping the current music ecosystem moderated by John Willsteed. 

The panel will be followed by a viewing of Peter Macpherson’s ‘A Vision of Hell’, made from footage of Brisbane's underground music scenes from 1981-83 the super 8 film features many of Brisbane’s underground greats including The PitsThis Five MinutesTex Deadly & the Dum DumsXero and more.
