Around one million bees in a Northern Territory farm have been killed in the second suspected deliberate poisoning this year.
Katherine beekeeper Sam Curtis says the bees died from Fipronil poisoning, an insecticide more commonly used for termite exterminations.
It is suspected the perpetrator is local as the two instances were within 5 kilometres from each other.
