Red light cameras are set to be installed in ten high risks intersections in Queensland in an effort to reduce the number of crashes.
Areas such as Mackenzie, Gympie, and Mt Sheridan have been selected by the State Government based on recent data.
RACQ Spokesperson Steve Spalding believes the cameras are important tools for road safety, denying they were simply put in place for revenue raising.
