Western Australian police are calling for help from the public to find one of two tortoises which disappeared from Perth Zoo seven years ago after the second animal was recovered from a suburban home.
The two Madagascan Radiated Tortoises went missing in 2011 and police were at the Girrawheen house on an unrelated matter when they found the animal.
Western Australia’s Environment Minister Stephen Dawson says the recovered tortoise is back at Perth Zoo and is being monitored in quarantine.
