Twitter reached out to its users on Tuesday for help creating a ban on comments that dehumanise people and promote real world violence.
Twitter has been working on a policy change for several months, intending to broaden hateful content restrictions and ban tweets dehumanising people based on race, sexual orientation, religion and other social groupings.
Twitter asked for feedback from users around the world regarding wording to be used in the policy amendment to ensure they consider global perspectives and how this policy may impact different communities.
