US President Donald Trump has attacked Iran as a “corrupt dictatorship” in a speech to the United Nations General Assembly this morning.
Mr Trump, who in May withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal, says Tehran fails to respect the sovereign rights of surrounding nations through funding of militant groups in Lebanon, Syria and Yemen.
Additional sanctions will be put on Iran on November 5, with the US to join an alliance with Jordan, Egypt, and Gulf nations to negotiate how to place further strategic pressure on Iran
