A third woman has come forward accusing US Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct in the 1980s.

Julie Swetnick, alongside two other women, have allocated a statement  to the Judiciary Committee regarding the accusations in 1982.

This comes a day before a Republican-led panel is set to hold a high-stakes hearing. Mr Kavanaugh has rejected the allegations, in a statement released by the White House.

The decision revealed in the senate panel will have likely have an affect on November’s elections, whereby the control of congress is at stake.
