Qatar has refuted allegations of supporting terrorism at the United Nations General Assembly on Saturday.

The allegations come from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and United Arab Emirates who earlier in June 2017 imposed a blockade on Qatar, severing diplomatic relations and banning all air, sea and land entry.

Qatar’s representative to the UN, Ahmad Saif Al Kuwari, claims the accusing countries “do not practice respect for state sovereignty and have plotted and financed an unsuccessful coup in Qatar”.

The representative from the United Arab Emirates responded that Qatar has ignored its international obligations, and is trying to disseminate false information.
