Clothing charities around the nation are asking consumers to think before they donate.
With cheap and low quality clothing being donated in an unsellable condition, charity shops are spending thousands getting rid of old clothes.
They’ve said the general rule for clothing donations is “if you wouldn’t give it to a friend or family member, don’t donate it.”
