Thousands of Queensland public servants have been pinged for poor performance or behaviour in the last year

 

A state government report has revealed 3469 work performance complaints were received this year as opposed to 2866 in the previous year

 

however , this only represents 1.7 per cent of the full time Queensland Public Sector, a percentile which has fluctuated from 1.4 to 1.7 per cent in the past 3 years,

 

Of the Issues reported, only 5 percent or 176 cases were serious breaches which includes criminal offences, serious wilful misconduct or reckless or malicious and serious neglect of duties, which equated to less than 0.1 per cent of the public workforce.
