A QLD hair loss clinic has been forced to apologise to a man after refusing to treat him due to his being HIV positive.
He was told that the treatment could not be performed due to risk of needle stick injury, however the client believed this to be discrimination.
The resolution involved the clinic undergoing intensive training on blood borne diseases, writing an apology to the client and giving him financial compensation.
