A former serum laboratory in Morningside in South Brisbane, has been transformed into the largest charity kitchen in the southern hemisphere.
The FoodShare kitchen aims to cook five-thousand meals per day for vulnerable people and distribute its work to almost three-hundred charities.
This food rescue initiative will turn five-hundred tonnes of surplus food from Foodbank into ready-to-eat meals in its first year.
