A new Carseldine sporting precinct worth six-and-a-half-million-dollars will begin construction and is expected to open mid-next year.

Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning, Cameron Dick, says the facilities will include soccer fields, tennis courts, exercise equipment and children’s playgrounds.

He says the precinct will be the first installment of Carseldine Urban Village and anticipates its construction will
generate around twenty new jobs.
