A United States Treasury Official has been charged with leaking confidential documents connecting Former Trump Campaign Paul Manafort and the Russian Embassy to a reporter from Buzzfeed
Natalie May Edwards from the Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network has been arrested on unauthorised disclosure of suspicious activity charges as well as conspiracy charges, according to US Attorney Geoffrey Berman.
Whilst Ms Edwards has described herself as a whistleblower, Mr Berman states shes betrayed her position of trust by disclosing the documents in question.
