A Senate Committee has recommended Australians be given another year to opt out of three Federal Government's My Health Record Program.
The program has sparked criticism by privacy advocates as it would allow doctors to view the entirety of a patient's healthcare records, even if those records are irrelevant to the patients current matter.
The Health Minister Greg Hunt says the Government has no plans to extend the opt out deadline past November 15.
