New data has revealed that more Australian five year olds are immunised than ever before.
Official records for the three months leading up to September show the national immunisation rate for five year old children is 94.52 per cent, the highest rate on record above the 94.42 per cent from the last quarter.
Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt said the rise shows most parents are getting the message about the benefits of vaccinating their children.
