The crown prince of Saudi Arabia says the killing of Jamal Khashoggi was a "heinous crime that cannot be justified" in his first public comment since the journalist’s death.

 

Appearing on a discussion panel, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said all culprits would be punished, and Saudi Arabia and Turkey would work together "to reach results".

 

The crown prince said of the death of the columnist who condemned him, “the crime was really painful to all Saudis. I believe it is painful for every human in the world."
