A new report by Infrastructure Australia has revealed more than a million people on Brisbane’s outskirts have minimal access to public transport services such as busses and trains within distance from their home.
This was significantly seen in areas such as Goodna, Logan Central and Redcliffe.
In comparison, 200,000 residents in Brisbane’s middle suburbs could not quickly access public transport, with only 17,000 in inner city Brisbane.
