The election launch of Matthew Guy, Liberal National Leader of the Opposition in Victoria’s state government, saw protesters outside the venue dressed in lobster outfits.
The group chanted the song “Rock Lobster” while reading placards such as “This Guy is Drowning in a Sea of Scandal”. The theme of this protest was seen as Matthew Guy’s 2017 dinner with underworld crime figure Tony Madafferi at Lobster Cave Restaurant in Melbourne.
Matthew Guy maintained his campaign focus on law and order for the upcoming election on November 24th.
