The actress at the centre of Geoffrey Rush’s defamation case took to the stand in a Sydney court yesterday.

Eryn Jean Norvill told the court she felt “belittled, embarrassed and shamed” when the actor made sexual gestures towards her during rehearsals for the production of King Lear.

Mr Rush is suing the publisher of The Daily Telegraph for defamation after they published an article alleging inappropriate behaviour to a younger colleague during the Sydney Theatre Company’s production.
