Brisbane’s only Greens councillor Jonathan Sri’s conduct is under investigation after a local real estate agent complained he was being ‘harassed and stalked’ by the councillor.
The agent, Mr Mangelakis, contacted the Brisbane City Council multiple times this year complaining Cr Sri had breached the councillor’s code of conduct.
In response, Cr Sri said he believes the rental laws in Queensland are flawed and he will continue to name and shame real estate agents who engage in questionable practices with tenants.
