Asylum-seeker families on Nauru are being flown to Adelaide as the federal government bows to public pressure to remove children from immigration detention.
Refugee advocates report up to seven families have resettled from the island’s immigration detention centre in the past two weeks.
The Advertiser reported the Federal Government refuses to confirm if a Nauru Airlines flight into Adelaide on Monday was carrying asylum seekers, although the airline does not fly commercially to Adelaide.
