The Queensland Treasury has accumulated over 1 Million dollars in unpaid invoices due to late payments.

This corroborates state government data which shows 12 percent of Queensland treasury bills were paid late in the september quarter, double last years rate.

A spokesperson from the treasury has assured the government that several process changes in order to return tardiness levels to normal, however, Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland Spokesperson Dan Petrie has said this is simply not good enough with the resources at their disposal.
