Local fisherman, Bruce Batch, has warned that shark numbers in North Queensland are currently “out of control” and is surprised there haven’t been more attacks in the area.
Mr Batch has said that there will be a big jump in the number of people attacked across the coast.
The comments come after Daniel Christidis, died in hospital after he was attacked by a shark stand up paddle boarding.
