Men in Australia are still earning $26k a year more than women.

Australia’s gender pay gap has fallen by 1.1% to 21.3% the largest drop since recording began 5 years ago. But men are still earning more than women on average, and in some industries the gap is increasing.

Libby Lyons, director of the Workplace Gender Equality Agency said, “Our data shows that change is happening in Australian workplaces. In some areas, it is happening quickly. In others, it is far too slow”s
