The use of MDMA in the treatment of PTSD has moved one step closer in Canada.

Two research sites in Montreal and Vancouver have been selected to conduct clinical trials on drug assisted psychotherapy, in what is the final step before possible legalisation of treatment.

Executive Director of the project, Mark Haden, said traditional PTSD treatments are ineffective, with 10 to 25% success rates, while his recent study has seen rates of up to 66%.
