Brisbane City Council commenced an aerial mosquito treatment this morning starting in Tinchi Tamba Wetlands.

The treatments began at 7am in Tinchi Tamba, progressively working south throughout the day, following recent high tides across Brisbane.

Residents are reminded to undertake simple steps around their home to minimise mosquito numbers by checking and emptying any containers holding water such as old tyres, birdbaths, boats and pot plant bases.
