The state Government has approved the proposed Mt Coot - tha zipline project.
Following this development, the Brisbane City Council will move towards its final decision following the conclusion of public feedback on Friday.
According to Lord Mayor Graham Quirk, the environmental impact would be minimal, as only 0.077 percent of trees would need to be removed for the project - however there have been concerns about the projects impact on wildlife, particularly on native owls to the area.
