The Minister for Agriculture, has called out website Aussie Farms for ‘putting the locations of farms online which could be used as an attack map for activists’.
Minister Littlemore states that the website is ‘irresponsible at best’, with some farmers complaining the website claims they run businesses which they do not.
Content such as graphic images or videos can be uploaded and attached to any farm by anonymous users, with Littlemore stating it could ‘potentially encourages activists to trespass and worse after being misled about the practices on that farm’.
