The United States Supreme Court has today voted in favour of President Donald Trump’s policy to ban certain transgender people from the military.
The court voted 5-4 to overturn certain injunctions that were previously blocking the policy from going forward, although challenges still exist within the lower courts.
If passed, the policy would prohibit "transgender persons who require or have undergone gender transition" from serving.
