Authorities say Argentinian footballer Emiliano Sala was on board a small passenger plane that disappeared over the English Channel on Monday.
Officials say no survivors are expected to be found, with the search for the plane resuming on Tuesday, after being called off due to extreme weather conditions.
Sala had signed for English Premier League club Cardiff City, in a record $27 million fee, and had been on his way to join the club.
