Sixty Brisbane school zones will now be targeted in a crackdown on illegal parking by Brisbane City Council.
The zones will be heavily monitored by enforcement officers who are able to hand out on the spot warnings and fines, which includes a $94 fine for loitering.
Infrastructure Chairman Amanda Cooper says school zones are being intentionally targeted in response to a large number of requests from schools and the community.
