The Aged Care Royal Commission heard how the rationing of continence pads in aged care homes can lead to residents sitting in their own waste for hours on end.
New South Wales Pensioners and Superannuants Association manager Paul Versteege told the commission residents do not receive access to the equipment or resources they need.
The hearings continue in Adelaide today before moving around the country in the weeks to come.
