A 25-year-old, armed, a Bangladeshi man responsible for attempting to hijack a plane has been shot by special forces in Chittagong.
The plane was safely landed and the 148 passengers of flight BG147 were rescued unharmed.
In order to conduct a safe emergency landing, Air Vice Marshall Mofid says he managed to keep the accused busy while talking to him on the phone while special forces prepared a raid.
